With around some 200 films and TV credits and a career spanning almost five decades, Bill Cobbs, is no more.

      Hollywood actor Bill Cobbs, known for his iconic roles in the films like ‘Night at the Museum’ and ‘The Bodyguard’ has passed away at the age of 90. The actor breathed his last at his home in Riverside, California.

      Bill Cobbs, an actor known for his versatile performances in several films and tv shows, is no more. The news of his death was confirmed by his family on social media. They said that Cobbs’ died peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones. His family expressed their grief and gratitude for the love and support and said that they find solace in knowing that he has found eternal rest with his Heavenly Father.

      The veteran actor’s career spanned almost five decades and includes some 200 films and TV credits. Cobbs began his acting career from theatre and made his cinema debut in 1974. The actor went on to play several roles in films and TV shows in the late 70s before bagging meatier roles in 80s. He featured in ‘Trading Places’, ‘Silkwood’, ‘Brother From Another Planet’ and many more. His role in ‘The Bodyguard’, also featuring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, earned him popularity.

      One of Cobbs’ most memorable roles came in the 2006 comedy ‘Night at the Museum’, where he played the character of a security guard Reginald. He reprised the role in its sequel ‘Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb’ in 2014.
