Amber Heard says she's not 'a perfect victim,' fears Johnny Depp will sue her again

Amber Heard has given her first interview post losing the defamation trial against former husband Johnny Depp.

In the second segment of her exclusive interview with NBC's Savannah Guthrie, which is being previewed on Today show, Heard speaks about her fears, love for Johnny Depp, and future.

When questioned about Johnny Depp's text promising her a 'total global humiliation,' Heard told Guthrie that she's 'not a perfect victim' and when she testified she had asked the jury to see her as human. She also fears being sued by Depp again. Heard said that every step that she will take will give him another opportunity to silence her.

'This is what I guess the defamation is meant to do. It is meant to take your voice,' she told Guthrie.

Amber Heard further stated that her Washington Post op-ed wasn't about her relationship with Johnny Depp but about loaning her voice to a bigger cultural conversation.

Guthrie also asked Heard if she still has love for Depp to which she replied 'absolutely.'

Heard said she has loved the actor with all her heart and she tried her best to make a deeply broken relationship work.

Jurors of a Virginia court ruled in favour of Johnny Depp in his libel lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard on June 1.
