'Tiger 3' advance booking: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer earns Rs 4.2 crore on Day 1

‘Tiger 3’, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is all set to release in cinemas on November 12. The advance bookings for the film opened on November 4 and as per early estimates by Sacknilk, the action thriller has already earned Rs 4.2 crore. A total of 140000 tickets have been sold on the opening day.

As per a report by Sacknilk, the earnings in the advance booking are from 7,392 shows.

The film, which has been directed by Maneesh Sharma and bankrolled by Yash Raj Films, is certified ‘UA’ and stands at 2 hours and 33 minutes.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported that 'Tiger 3' has already sold 44,500 tickets for its opening day at the national chains as of now.

PVR INOX has sold 37,000 tickets for opening day. Cinepolis has also sold 7,500 tickets for Salman Khan's film. The film's advance bookings in India were opened on November 4 a day in advance due to high demand.

‘Tiger 3’ features Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. The film's powerful trailer has left fans quite excited to witness the visual spectacular on the big screen.

'Tiger 3' follows 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War', and 'Pathaan' in the YRF Spy Universe.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen reprising their roles as Avinash and Zoya, respectively, in the film.

‘Tiger 3’s shows will start from 7 AM across the country on November 12.

It is being said that Shah Rukh Khan will make a special appearance in the film in the same way that Salman’s Tiger appeared in ‘Pathaan’. Details about SRK’s cameo in ‘Tiger 3’ are still unknown. It is also reported that Hrithik Roshan will also be making a special appearance in the film as Kabir from ‘War’.

‘Tiger 3’ also stars along with Kumud Mishra, Revathi, Riddhi Dogra and Anant Vidhaat.
