‘The Archies’ song ‘Va Va Voom’: Agastya Nanda romances Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor | Watch

The makers of ‘The Archies’ have released the second song from the movie, titled ‘Va Va Voom’. It features Agastya Nanda’s Archie crooning on stage, while Suhana Khan’s Veronica and Khushi Kapoor’s Betty take the dance floor along with the rest of the cast.

The upbeat song has a retro vibe to it, much like the other promotional material of the film. The cast is seen dancing their hearts out at a carnival of sorts.

‘Va Va Voom’ has been composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy with lyrics by Javed Akhtar and vocals by Tejas.

The film's director Zoya Akhtar shared the track on social media and wrote, ‘You are just so Va Va Voom! Va Va Voom Out Now.’

Suhana, Agastya’s first day experience

In an earlier conversation with India Today, Suhana spoke about her first day on the set of the film and said, ‘From the number of people on set to the number of lights on set and the hair and the makeup and the chaos, I feel like in the middle of it, I just felt extremely significant.” She added that everyone on the set was doing everything to “facilitate Zoya’s vision and knowing that on my first day and realising that, I felt extremely nervous and at the same time, incredibly responsible’.

Speaking about his first day on set, Agastya told Bollywood Hungama, ‘She (Zoya Akhtar) was very patient with us. She taught us very nicely. I love her for taking a chance on us. Hopefully, people like what we’ve done.’

About ‘The Archies’

Besides Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, and Khushi Kapoor, ‘The Archies’ also stars Dot, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda.

The Hindi adaptation of ‘The Archie’ comics has been directed by Zoya Akhtar and it has been co-produced by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti and Sharad Devarajan under their production houses Tiger Baby and Graphic India.

‘The Archies’ will be released on streaming giant Netflix on December 7.
