‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ box office day 2: Big jump for Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon’s film

A day after slow start, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ gained momentum on day 2 at box office. Released in Valentine’s week, the rom com witnessed a big jump in its collection on Saturday and is likely to have an even better Sunday collection.

‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ gained momentum after receiving lukewarm response on day 1. According to a report by Sacnilk.com, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer film has minted an estimated ₹ 9.5 crore in India on Saturday. It had collected ₹6.7 crore on Friday taking its overall collection in India to ₹16.2 crore. Globally, the film has grossed ₹ 20.02 crore on Saturday as per film trade analyst Ramesh Bala.

Ahead of Valentine’s Day, ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ is likely to maintain the pace on Sunday and beyond. The film saw an overall 22.16 occupancy on Saturday.

About the film

With Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the lead, the film is a romantic comedy where a man falls in love with a robot named Sifra. Produced by Maddock Films, the film is written and directed by filmmakers Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah.

Besides Shahid and Kriti, the film also has Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in key roles. Critics and fans have given mixed reviews to the film.
