Taimur to Ambani's: Lalita D Silva's 30 year journey as a trusted pediatric nurse

Lalita D Silva, often seen beside celebrity children like Taimur and Jeh from their childhood, is not just a nanny, but a pediatric nurse with a remarkable 30 year career. Recently, she has been garnering attention for her heartwarming reunion with Anant Ambani at his wedding.

Reflecting on her journey, Lalita reminisces, 'He was the first child I started taking care of. It was an unbelievable feeling to attend his wedding. He was a good kid, and he is exactly the same even now.' The viral sensation of their reunion took her by surprise, with friends and family flooding her with messages. 'People have started recognising me,' she said.

Having nurtured Anant Ambani along with Isha and Akash, Lalita emphasises the warm bond they share. 'They are very much in touch with me till now. It’s God’s blessing,' she shares gratefully. They are such a rich family, but have still not forgotten me. Hard work pays off, I worked dedicatedly with Anant. They invited me for Isha and Akash’s wedding too, but I was busy travelling with Taimur then. This time, Ram Charan sir and Upasana ji helped me stay back and attend the wedding,' she added.

Beyond her association with the Ambani's, Lalita has also accompanied other celebrity families on their journeys, including trips abroad and during film shoots. She speaks warmly of her experiences with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, 'Kareena is an amazing mother, she is so disciplined, her kids are also similar. Saif is very much hands on with his kids,' she revealed.

Recalling the frenzy surrounding Taimur's public appearances, Lalita reveals the challenges she faced. 'There was pressure from the public and media. I had no experience of clearing the media or stop them from clicking pics, but I managed. I was very concerned for Taimur’s safety, that he should be kept secure from all this'. she said.
