Sushmita Sen resumes workout after surviving a major heart attack, says 'What a feeling!'

Actor Sushmita Sen, who suffered a heart attack a couple of days back revealed that she had been cleared by her cardiologist to work out. The actor took to social media and shared a picture of her working out, she captioned her post, 'Wheel of life…cleared by my cardiologist…stretching begins!!! What a feeling!!! This is my “Happy Holi” …how was yours?'

In the picture, the 'Aarya' actor can be seen stretching herself on a wheel. The post of the actor has garnered immense love, and the fans have filled the comment section with best wishes for her recovery.

Last week, the former Miss Universe shared that she had suffered a heart attack along with a heartfelt note on Instagram.

Her note reads, 'Keep your heart happy and courageous, and it'll stand by you when you need it the most Shona (Wise words by my father Subir Sen). I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back...Angioplasty is done...stent in place...and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed...I do have a big heart.'

'Lots of people to thank for their timely aid and constructive action...will do so in another post. This post is just to keep you (my well-wishers and loved ones) informed of the good news ...that all is well and I am ready for some life again,' it concluded.

On the work front, Sushmita Sen will next be seen in the Disney Plus Hotstar series 'Aarya 3'.
