Sunny Leone shares why she did 'Bigg Boss'; reveals she didn't know who Mahesh Bhatt was

Actor Sunny Leone has opened up about her participation in 'Bigg Boss' season 5. In an interview with Mid-Day, the actor shared that she was worried about how the audience would react but she was offered good money which was enough to make a down payment for a house in US.

On the show, Sunny was offered the lead role in Jism 2. Recalling how Mahesh Bhatt visited the house to cast her, the actor said she didn't even know the filmmaker but everybody in the house was going bananas.

Sunny revealed that her 'life has come a full circle' from the time she made her first screen appearance in India as a guest contestant on 'Bigg Boss 5'.

She further mentioned 'I didn't think it was real. I mean at that point, I didn't think it was real. Because I didn't even know who he was. They just said this is so and so from the film industry and everybody else was going bananas in the house. Oh my god, this person is coming into the house, this buzz was happening. I don't know who he is. But he's probably amazing. I mean he is really amazing, I later realized'.

Sunny concluded her statement by adding that it was 'crazy' that Pooja Bhatt, daughter of Mahesh and director of her Bollywood debut 'Jism 2', is now a contestant on Bigg Boss OTT.
