Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film has been directed by Tarun Mansukhani of "Dostana" fame.
Also featuring Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma, Jackie Shroff, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan and Sanjay Dutt, the film released in theatres on June 6. It is the fifth installment in the "Housefull" franchise.
Production banner shared the box office collection on its X handle with the day-wise breakdown.
"A weekend full of laughter, love&hellip; and Housefull screens! Thank you for making Day 3 so special. Our hearts are full because of you. #Housefull5 In Cinemas NOW! Book your tickets today," read the caption.
"Housefull 5" opened with Rs 24.35 crore nett and went on to earn Rs 32.38 crore nett on the following day. It collected Rs 35.10 crore nett on its third day.
The franchise began in 2010 with the first "Housefull" film, which went on to have good business at the box office. Following, the other installments released in 2012, 2016, and 2019, respectively.

"Thug Life", superstar Kamal Haasan's 234th movie, released in cinema halls across the country on Thursday and with much fanfare in his home state Tamil Nadu where fans queued up outside several theatres to catch the first show.
The Tamil movie, which reunites the 70-year-old actor with filmmaker Mani Ratnam after 1987's "Nayakan", could not be released in Karnataka after Haasan's comments about Kannada language sparked a major controversy. It was also released in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
In Tamil Nadu, the film's shows started at 9 am. Outside Chennai's Rohini Theatre, the excitement was visible as crowds gathered for the first day, first show of the film.
The venue was adorned with posters and cutouts of the movie and its stars, including Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, and Trisha.
Many fans burst firecrackers, cut cakes and danced in the theatre premises. Some hysterical fans popped open beer bottles and poured the beverage on giant cutouts of their beloved stars.
In the wake of a stampede in Bengaluru during IPL team Royal Challengers Bengaluru's celebrations on Wednesday, authorities deployed significant police presence at key cinema halls across Tamil Nadu.
The beefed up security arrangement played spoilsport to some of these celebrations.
"We were excited for the movie. We had planned to celebrate in a grand way but the government has not given us permission for it considering law and order issues. Hence we are a little disappointed," said one of the fans.
Another fan said, "There is too much expectation from the movie. We have planned many things but the permission was not granted. Despite that we are excited and celebrating. The movie is definitely coming out well." Celebratory scenes also played out in Coimbatore where fans welcomed the arrival of Haasan's new movie in style. Musical instruments, including the Sendai Melam, were played to uplift the crowd&rsquo;s spirits. The sound of drums echoed outside Archana Theatre in the flower market area.
"I have always been a great fan of Kamal Haasan. His film releases are like festivals for us. We are sure about the success of the film," said a cinephile who came to watch the movie.
The movie was also set to premiere in Karnataka but its release in the state was cancelled after Haasan's controversial "Kannada was born out of Tamil" remark.
Several fans from Bengaluru city and suburbs went to Hosur, a distance of about 42 km, to watch the movie, according to many social media posts.
Industry tracker Sacnilk said the movie has earned Rs 6.16 crore in advance bookings on Wednesday. Over 3.5 lakh tickets were sold across 11,357 shows.
Gautam Dutta, CEO- Revenue &amp; Operations, PVR INOX Ltd, said the film has been received well by the audiences, especially in Tamil Nadu.
&ldquo;Tamil Nadu is showing excellent numbers with 60-65 per cent occupancy already. Other South regions are also performing strongly. We&rsquo;re also seeing a steady rise in the North, driven by positive word of mouth.
"The film is generating strong buzz, and we expect high footfalls throughout the opening weekend. Thug Life is clearly connecting with audiences, and we&rsquo;re excited to see how it continues to grow," Dutta said in a statement.
The reviews from both fans and the critics, however, have been polarising.
One fan, who watched the movie in Mumbai, found it to be "amazing".
"The direction is so good and the ending is good. Kamal Hassan is an amazing actor... I got to watch a good film after a long time," the fan said.
For another fan in Mumbai, the movie didn't live up to the expectations.
"There is not much in the film, just a lot of fighting and enmity with each other. This kind of movie cannot run. Kamal Hassan's acting is very good. He is the hero, his acting is best. And the acting of the one along with him is also good," the fan added.
"Thug Life" is jointly produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin&rsquo;s Red Giant Movies, Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International and Ratnam&rsquo;s Madras Talkies.

"I've loved Joe's writing for years, cherishing each new read, throughout the epic cycle of the 'First Law' books, especially 'Best Served Cold' (LOVE IT!) and the 'Age of Madness' trilogy. But the freshness of the world and the characters in 'The Devils' finally got me to buy one of his books and partner with him to bring it to the screen," Cameron said. "I'm looking forward to the writing process with him, though I'm certain this adaptation will practically write itself because Joe writes very visually, almost in scenes, and with a very cinematic structure. I can't wait to dig into this as I wind down on 'Avatar: Fire and Ash'. It will be a joyful new challenge for me to bring these indelible characters to life." The book revolves around an alternate medieval Europe threatened by an imminent elvish invasion, who are hungry for human flesh.
Abercrombie said he couldn't think of anyone better than Cameron to bring the story to the screen.
"James Cameron has been thrilling audiences, including me, by putting the impossible on film for over four decades. No one can balance mind-blowing action and spectacle with gut-wrenching personal stakes and story the way he does. I can't think of anyone better to bring this weird and wonderful monster of a book to the screen," he said.
Cameron's "Avatar: Fire and Ash" is slated to release in theatres on December 19.

The dance musical by The Dragon Rose Project, staged as part of Aditya Birla Group's Aadyam Theatre, will follow the story of Dev, a young dancer from a coastal village in Maharashtra, who arrives in Mumbai with little more than his mother's dream and a burning passion to make it big.
As Dev auditions for 'Mumbai Star' dance competition, what unfolds is a transformative journey through ambition and heartbreak, the glitter of fame and its shadows - and a powerful relationship with a mentor who becomes his moral compass.
The show will feature a 19-track original score - eight songs and 11 instrumental pieces - that merge dance anthems, romantic ballads, kathak-influenced dance pieces, and the flavour of rap/hip-hop. The songs have been written by Ishitta Arun and composed by Dhruv Ghanekar.
While the studio version features celebrated artists like Sunidhi Chauhan, Nakash Aziz, Kunal Ganjawala, Ravi Chary, and Stony Psyko, on stage, the songs are performed by dancers and ensemble, including Avenav Mukherjee, Abhishek Choksi, Arushi Nigam, and Jayesh Sarange.
Originally written and conceptualised by Devika Shahani's The Dragon Rose Project for the Tokyo-based Min-On Concert Association, the script has been re-imagined by Akarsh Khurana and Arghya Lahiri.
"Mumbai Star is very close to my heart. It is a universal story about one of the most important relationships of our lives-the guru and shishya. The seed of this subject germinated from my determination to present the dynamic between mentor and disciple through music and dance. The dance musical has been directed by Nadir Khan and choreographed by Avantika Bahl while seasoned actors Rajit Kapur and Srishti Shrivastava narrate and guide the story.
"'Mumbai Star', celebrates dance -- both modern and traditional -- and dancers themselves, as individuals and a collective. All while rooting itself in a compelling theatrical narrative that weaves different styles of storytelling together - music, movement and theatre.

Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has been receiving backlash ahead of the release of his film "Sardaar Ji 3", which features Pakistani artist Hania Aamir, with many users asking to boycott him.
Directed by Amar Hundal, the film is the third sequel of the Punjabi horror comedy franchise. It is produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu of White Hill Studios alongside Story Time Productions.
Diljit shared the trailer of the film on his Instagram handle on Sunday night. The actor said the film, which was previously slated to have a worldwide release, will now come out overseas only on June 27.
"'Sardaar Ji 3' Releasing 27th June overseas only. Fadh Lao Bhoond Dian Lattan," read the caption.
Following, many users went on to express their disappointment and called out Dosanjh for working with a Pakistani actor.
This comes after the Pahalgam terror attack that took place in April. 26 civilians were killed during it, resulting in heightened tensions between India and Pakistan.
"Boycott," wrote one of the users.
"Diljit Dosanjh is a traitor," wrote another.
"Country first, boycott @diljitdosanjh @teamdiljitglobal," wrote another.
Following the attack, the social media accounts of the Pakistani artists, including Hania, Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, have been banned in India.
Fawad's film "Abir Gulaal", alongside Vaani Kapoor, was also not allowed to be released in India. It was expected to release in May.

A fire broke out on the set of popular TV serial 'Anupamaa' at the Film City complex in Mumbai on Monday morning, civic officials said.
No person was injured in the fire, they said, adding the blaze was doused after about four hours.
As per the fire brigade, the incident took place on the set of Hindi serial 'Anupamaa', which stars Rupali Ganguly.
The civic body had initially given another name of the set.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's fire brigade received a call at 6.10 am about the blaze in a tent area of the TV show's set, behind the Marathi Bigg Boss set, located at Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari in Goregaon (East) area, civic officials said.
The fire was confined to the electric wiring and installations, plastic, iron and decorative materials, cameras, costumes, lighting system and studio equipment in the 5,000 sq ft area of the 'Anupamaa' (serial) studio, a civic official said.
Four fire engines and as many jumbo tankers were rushed to the spot. An assistant divisional fire officer and three station officers were deployed at the site.
The blaze was doused by 10.15 am, the official said.
The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.&nbsp;

Karan Tejpal had almost given up on his dream to become a director when he stumbled upon the idea of his critically-acclaimed film "Stolen", about two brothers who are forced to confront their privilege after they witness a baby being stolen from an impoverished tribal woman at a small town railway station.
The director, who worked as an assistant on films like &ldquo;3 Idiots&rdquo; and &ldquo;Delhi 6&rdquo;, said he wrote "Stolen" after he came across a video where two businessmen lost their lives in a lynching because they were mistaken as baby snatchers by the crowd. &nbsp; "Disparate worlds are always clashing and coming together and it's not something unique in itself in India. But the way we have sort of addressed it in 'Stolen' is to create a compelling story out of it, and to have that intersection kind of take our privileged characters to a place where they have a transformation," Tejpal told PTI in a virtual interview.
"We never set out with this idea that we are telling some really unique story about this intersection. But the idea was to tell an honest story about it, which compels you to think about these intersections." After its premiere at the Venice Film Festival, "Stolen" travelled to many international festivals like BFI London, and the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) Produced and co-written by Gaurav Dhingra of Jungle Book Studio, the film features Abhishek Banerjee and Shubham as two brothers and Mia Maelzer as the tribal woman. Harish Khanna and Sahidur Rahaman also star in key roles. The movie released on Prime Video earlier this month.
Tejpal said his personal motto while making a movie is to find the "heart of the story".
"If filmmakers do not find their heart within a story and they don't find that personal link to a story, then that story is never going to have any potency. For me, this project, or for any in the future, I think the hardest part is finding the heart of that story." Banerjee, who plays sheltered rich brat Gautam Bansal in the movie, said his motivations to do the film were simple: he wanted to be part of an action drama.
&ldquo;I really love the action genre and just wanted to have fun on the set without thinking much... Both Karan and Gaurav had designed the film so well that you could see the film even when they were giving the narration,&rdquo; he said.
He, however, said being on the "Stolen" set felt like being in a proper acting college.
&ldquo;This was the most planned film I've ever shot. Not a single minute was wasted. If we are on set, we are doing something productive. And if we are not on set, then still, we are doing something productive, either rehearsing or writing,&rdquo; he added.
Shubham, who graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India and co-wrote the critically-acclaimed "Eeb Allay Ooo!" with Prateek Vats, said he also loved that the movie was rooted in the action genre.
Shubham's Raman is the empathetic brother who ropes in a reluctant Guatam to help the woman, Jhumpa Mahato, in her perilous journey into the heartland to find her missing baby.
The actor said he was initially worried about coming off as a boring character. "I decided that instead of concentrating on the morality part of it, I would focus on my relationship with my brother? How are my decisions being taken because of my brother? Sometimes these are very complicated, detailed things like if he's saying tea, I will say coffee. It is just that toxic brother relationship, which sometimes leads to problems,&rdquo; he added.
Melzer said she wanted her portrayal of Jhumpa to be relevant to the real mothers.
"At no point should it come across as if I am trying to enact it. This kind of pain cannot be acted on, that's what I feel. I tried to use my craft to go as close as possible to this feeling and maybe our film did justice to the story. The material, the films Karan gave me to watch and study and the research brought me closer to the role,&rdquo; she added.
Tejpal admitted that "Stolen" was a difficult film to make though it has found a lot of support from within the industry with filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao and Nikhil Advani boarding it as executive producers.
Dhingra said when Tejpal showed him the video, he felt scared and they decided to work on the movie together. Initially, he said, the director wanted to shoot the movie in Maharashtra but they eventually decided Pushkar in Rajasthan would be more suited.
"The pandemic delayed our film and many on the team fell sick during the shooting but once it was over and the film premiered in Venice, it was like a bullet train and there was no looking back," Dhingra said.
Tejpal also looks back at the experience with a lot of gratitude.
"Making a first film for any filmmaker is an uphill battle. It is something that we all have to fight. Prior to 'Stolen', I had been fighting that fight for a long time, very unsuccessfully, in fact. And just before 'Stolen', I had kind of given up on this (direction) thing. I thought I would give up and become a writer and then the film happened very organically," he said.
"I've been blessed on this journey along the way as the film has given back to me 500 times what I could have ever expected or even imagined."

 Sunjay Kapur married Karisma Kapoor in 2003. After years of discord, the couple decided to part ways and officially divorced in June 2016.
