He is the youngest sibling in the Jonas Brother trio and he became a global sensation through his brothers’ band. Apart from being a famed musician, he also an actor and a lovely husband. The heartthrob is married to actor Priyanka Chopra and they are now parents to daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.

Nick Jonas is not his full name

His full name is not Nick Jonas or Nicholas Jonas. His complete name is Nicholas Jerry Jonas.

How Nick Jonas was discovered

Nick was first discovered at a barbershop in 1999 when he was solo-singing during his mother’s haircut. He was just six years old then.

Nick’s singing career started on Broadway

After being discovered at the barbershop, Nick started his singing career on Broadway. He played Tiny Tim in a production of ‘A Christmas Carol’ at the age of seven and also wrote the song, ‘Joy To The World (A Christmas Prayer).’

Nick Jonas is type 1 diabetic

He was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 13. He went public with his condition in 2007 at the Carnival for a Cure hosted by the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation. He now owns the Change for the Children Foundation to increase awareness about this disease and raise funds for it.

He has his own record label

In 2015, Nick Jonas collaborated with manager Phil McIntyre and fellow singer-songwriter Demi Lovato to create Safehouse Records.
