Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding confirmed, singer Honey Singh says ‘he’ll attend best friend’s wedding’

Sonakshi Sinha is reportedly tying the knot with her longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal on June 23. The couple has avoided speaking about their private lives and remain tightlipped on their wedding plans. However, several hints and rumours are circulating around their wedding on social media. Singer Honey Singh is the latest one to confirm Sonakshi’s wedding in an Instagram post.

Honey Singh, who collaborated with Sonakshi on superhit ‘Desi Kalakaar’ and later ‘Kalaastar’, has confirmed her wedding. Taking to his Instagram story, Honey Singh penned a note for his ‘best friend’. The singer and rapper wrote, “I will make sure I will attend my best friend Sonakshi’s wedding as she has been a big support in my career n helped me so many times in life.” He further sent best wishes to the soon-to-be lovebirds, calling them ‘the power couple’.

Poonam Dhillon confirmed wedding

Earlier, veteran actor Poonam Dhillon confirmed that Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding. She mentioned that Sonakshi has sent her a ‘lovely wedding invite,’ and she will be a part of the ‘Heeramandi’ actor’s special day later this month. Speaking with Instant Bollywood, Poonam said, ‘I wish Sonakshi all the very best. Boht pyara invite bheja hai usne. I have known her since she was a little girl, uski poori journey dekhi hai toh bhagwaan kare boht khush rahe. She is a lovely, warm, very loving girl toh I wish her all the joy and happiness. (She has sent a very beautiful invite. I have known her since she was a child and I have seen her entire journey. So, I wish her all the happiness.)’

About Sonakshi-Zaheer wedding

According to various reports, Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding will be a quiet affair. The wedding will reportedly be hosted at ‘Bastian’ in Mumbai. Reports also suggest that the invitations for the wedding are already out and the entire ‘Heeramandi’ team including Sanjay Leela Bhansali are invited.

The lovebirds reportedly met at a party hosted by superstar Salman Khan, however, their friendship turned into more as the two worked together on multiple occasions. Sonakshi and Zaheer have shared screen in the film ‘Double XL’. They also collaborated on the song, ‘Blockbuster’.
