‘Singham Again’ trailer launch: Ranveer kisses Deepika's poster; hails film as ‘Baby Singham's debut

At the ‘Singham Again’ trailer launch, Ranveer Singh was spotted lovingly ‘removing nazar’ from Deepika Padukone’s poster.

With ‘Lady Singham’ and new mom Deepika absent, Ranveer, reprising his role as Simmba, showed just how much he missed her.

In a viral video, he paused mid-walk to dramatically ward off the evil eye from Deepika’s poster, then posed proudly like a devoted husband before heading to join Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff for the big event. Ranveer's affection for Deepika clearly knows no limits—even when it’s just her poster!

At the launch, Ranveer Singh playfully revealed that the movie will also mark the debut of their daughter, as Deepika Padukone was pregnant during filming.

‘You’ll get to see Lady Singham, Baby Singham, and Simmba in Singham Again,’ Ranveer quipped, referring to Deepika, their little one, and himself.

Speaking to the media, Ranveer Singh explained that Deepika couldn’t attend the event because she was busy with their baby. ‘My nighttime duty is taking care of the baby, so that’s why I’m here,’ he shared.

He also mentioned, ‘We have so many stars in our film, and let me tell you this—my baby has had a baby, Baby Simmba!’ He added, ‘Deepika was pregnant while we were shooting for the film.’

Wrapping up, he wished everyone an early happy Diwali on behalf of Lady Singham, Simmba, and Baby Simmba.

Ranveer Singh makes a cameo in Singham Again, which also stars Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan in Rohit Shetty's multi-starrer. The film is set to hit theatres this Diwali.

About ‘Singham Again’

Ajay Devgn returns to his cop persona in the third installment of the Singham franchise, following Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014).

As the lead actor, he is set to earn a substantial fee of ₹35 crore and is also a co-producer of the film alongside Rohit Shetty and Jyoti Deshpande.
