Actor Shriya Saran attended the special screening of ‘Drishyam 2’ on November 17 along with her husband, Russian tennis player and entrepreneur Andrei Koscheev. During the event, the couple was shared a kiss as they posed for the cameras. Their act received huge criticism from many people and the actor was massively trolled on social media.

While few Twitter users felt that they ‘overreacted’ at the event, some questioned ‘Why do they have to kiss in public every time?

Shriya Saran has now reacted to the trolls. She said that Andrei thinks it's normal to kiss her during special moments.

In an interaction with News 18, she said, ‘It’s kind of funny! Andrei thinks that it’s normal to kiss me during my special moment and I think it’s beautiful. He doesn’t understand why we would be trolled for something so natural. But it is okay, it is fine (laughs)! I don’t read bad comments or react to them. It’s their (trolls) job to write and my job is to avoid them. I only do what I’ve to do.’

Shriya Saran also opened up about her husband’s reaction to ‘Drishyam 2’, ‘RRR’ and ‘Gamanam’ and said, ‘He really loved it but he told me that he needs to watch it again to understand it properly. The other day, we were talking about it at two o’clock in the morning, which was really interesting. The film is like that because there’s so much going and by the end of it, you’re trying to figure out what happened.’

Shriya Saran tied the knot with Andrei Koscheev in 2018.

‘Drishyam 2’ is a suspense-thriller. It also features Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, and Ishita Dutta. The film is a sequel to the 2015 movie ‘Drishyam’, which was the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. Shriya portrayed the role of Ajay Devgn’s wife in the Abhishek Pathak directorial.

On the work front, Shriya Saran will next be seen in ‘Kabaza’.
