Salman Khan visits London amid death threats, poses with UK MP Barry Gardiner at Wembley

Salman Khan has flown to London weeks after the shooting incident outside his Mumbai home. Photos from his visit were shared on social media by Barry Gardiner, a Member of Parliament in the United Kingdom. The pictures show Salman engaging in conversation with the UK MP.

‘Tiger is Alive and is in London. A pleasure to welcome @BeingSalmanKhan to Wembley today,’ Gardiner captioned photos of himself with the actor.

Salman met Gardiner at Wembley Stadium. For his meeting with the UK MP, Salman opted for a casual yet chic look. He was seen dressed in a black leather jacket, paired with blue denim. He wore matching sunglasses and shoes.

Salman Khan fans were elated to see their favourite star. One of them wrote, ‘Casual jeans and a t-shirt only suit this man. No one can carry such simple clothes effortlessly. Love u #SalmanKhan sir (sic).’ Another added, ‘Biggest Megastar of the Indian Film Industry Salman Khan with the MP of Brent North (sic).’ An X user also wrote, ‘What a look,’ with heart emojis.

Salman firing incident

Last month, two men on a motorbike fired four rounds outside Salman’s Mumbai home before fleeing. CCTV footage showed the suspects wearing caps and carrying backpacks, firing towards Salman's residence. Following the arrest, Kutch DSP AR Zankant stated that preliminary investigations indicated the suspects' ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Since November 2022, Salman's security has been heightened to Y-Plus due to threats from Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar. He was also permitted to carry a personal firearm and has acquired an armored vehicle for added protection.

Salman’s work front

Salman Khan's last appearance was in the successful thriller ‘Tiger 3,’ directed by Maneesh Sharma. The film, which also starred Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, performed impressively at the box office.
