‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’: Alia Bhatt says her daughter will choose this as her career | Watch

Actor Alia Bhatt is currently busy promoting her forthcoming film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaan’ with Ranveer Singh and director Karan Johar.

The trio was seen promoting their film at an event in Mumbai and while interacting with the fans, Alia talked about her daughter Raha.

She revealed that she wants her daughter to become a scientist.

Alia married Ranbir Kapoor in April last year, and in November 2022, the couple welcomed daughter Raha Bhatt Kapoor.

Alia Bhatt has often spoken about ‘mother’s guilt’ when she leaves Raha for work.

She told Vogue, ‘It does make me anxious to think whether I am doing right by my baby and work. There’s so much pressure on women to ace both…almost like this old-school dogma that once you have a baby, you have to martyr your career or you’re not a model mum. It’s very important for new mothers to get that time off work to gather their bearings, and it’s equally crucial for corporations and industries to grant them that time instead of writing them off.’

‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, directed by Karan Johar, is scheduled to release in the theaters on July 28. The film marks KJo’s return to film direction after ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
