'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani': Alia Bhatt's reaction when Ranveer Singh described his character Rocky

Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are busy with the promotions of their forthcoming film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'.

During a promotional event in Gujarat's Vadodara, Ranveer shared a few details about his character Rocky and said that he is not the brightest egg in the basket. Alia interrupted and playfully quipped, 'just like me', leaving the audience in a split.

Ranveer revealed that Rocky wears his heart on his sleeves and really loves his family. He added that the film's trailer shows all superficial things and there is a lot more in the movie.

The 'Gully Boy' actor said, 'But uska dil saaf hai, uska dil bahut bada hai (He has a clean and a big heart). He wears his heart on his sleeves. That’s what I really love about this character, uspe bahut pyaar aata hai (he is very lovable). He is a mama’s boy, and really loves his family. He loves fiercely and I really enjoyed playing Rocky. Now, when I watch the film, I feel so much love for him.'

Ranveer also talked about the trailer and said, 'Trailer mein sab upar-upar se hai (the trailer shows all superficial things). There is a lot more to be seen in this film.'

'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' marks Karan Johar's return to the director’s chair after a gap of seven years. He last directed 2016’s 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.

'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. It will release in theatres on July 28.
