Ranveer Singh recreates iconic Pushpa scene at SIIMA 2022, leaves fans impressed

Ranveer Singh attended the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIMA) in Bengaluru on September 10. The actor, who won the award for Most Popular Hindi Actor in South India category, left the audience impressed when he went on stage to receive the trophy. The hosts requested Ranveer to recreate the popular Pushpa dialogue ‘Main jhukega nahi’ and he happily obliged. He was also seen dancing to ‘Pushpa: The Rise’s song ‘Srivalli’ as he copied Allu Arjun’s iconic walk.

In the video, the ‘Simmba’ actor is heard lauding Allu Arjun and his film ‘Pushpa’. Recreating his iconic dialogue, he said, ‘Can’t take a shot like this guy [Allu Arjun], man! My only regret is that I didn’t watch it in the hall. I watched it on the sofa with my wife which is also great. But Pushpa 2 I’ll be in the hall, that’s for sure.’

‘Thank you Bengaluru for such warmth, for such kindness. I feel the love, I get extra love in Bengaluru and we all know the reason why,’ he added.

For the unversed, Ranveer's wife Deepika Padukone hails from the city.

Another video of Ranveer interacting with Allu Arjun at the awards ceremony is also going viral. The ‘Arya’ star seems to be fixing Ranveer’s watch and the duo is also seen speaking to Pooja Hegde, who is seated beside them.

SIIMA 2022 was held in Bengaluru over two days. The winners of the Telugu and Kannada film industries were announced on Saturday, whereas the rest of the awards were announced on Sunday.
