Ranveer Singh, Kriti Sanon walk the ramp for Manish Malhotra; visit Varanasi's Kashi Vishwanath Temple

Actors Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon participated in a fashion show curated by ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra in Varanasi. The event was based on the theme 'Banarasi Saree: A tapestry of Indian culture and Craftsmen'.

Kriti looked stunning in a red traditional lenhenga, while Ranveer looked dapper in a purple and gold brocade sherwani.

Manish Malhotra's fashion show on Sunday evening was a highlight of the two-day event at Namo Ghat, organized by the Indian Minorities Foundation to showcase Varanasi's handlooms and handicrafts.

Earlier in the day, Ranveer, Kriti, and Manish Malhotra offered prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Temple. As the trio walked through the city's bustling streets, fans swarmed the lanes to catch a glimpse of the stars.

Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon were seen in traditional outfits as they visited the Dashashwamedh Ghat to offer prayers. Kriti wore a yellow kurta-pyjama set, while Ranveer chose a white kurta. Manish Malhotra was also present, dressed in pink and white. Ranveer interacted with fans at the ghat and waved to the crowd.

Ranveer told ANI, ‘I cannot express in words the experience that I have had today. Lifelong I have been a devotee of lord Shiva and I have come here for the first time. Next time I want to come here along with my mother.” Kriti added, “I came here ten years ago for an ad shoot but had no time. However, this time, I got the opportunity to go to the Kashi Vishwanath temple. I feel blessed. There is a vibration and energy in the city.’

Ranveer and Kriti’s work front

Ranveer Singh is set to reprise his role as Simmba in Rohit Shetty's upcoming cop drama ‘Singham Again,’ where he will join Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone, who plays Shakti Shetty. The film will also feature Tiger Shroff and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Additionally, Ranveer will star in Farhan Akhtar's ‘Don 3.’

Kriti Sanon was recently seen in ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ with Shahid Kapoor and the heist film ‘Crew’ alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kapil Sharma. She is also set to appear in ‘Do Patti.’
