Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Animal' mints Rs 9.75 crore in advance booking

Ranbir Kapoor fans are all excited for his upcoming release ‘Animal’, which has created a buzz in the industry with its teasers and now there are reports that the film has already earned ₹9.75 crore in advance bookings.

As per a report by Sacnilk.com, 3,34,173 tickets have been sold across 7,200 shows in India. This makes advance ticket sales worth ₹9.75 crore across all theatres and languages in India.

The Telugu version of 'Animal' has done a business of Rs 91.48 lakh and sold 58,465 tickets for 643 shows, so far, for day 1. The film has sold 779 tickets across 41 shows for the Tamil version and 1504 tickets for its Kannada version in 16 shows.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. The film will clash with Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’. The war drama directed by Meghna Gulzar, is a biopic on India's first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw. The film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in important roles.

'Animal' and 'Sam Bahadur' are slated to release on December 1, 2023.
