R Madhavan to play lead role in inventor GD Naidu's biopic

Actor R Madhavan has been roped in to play the lead role in the biopic of inventor Gopalswamy Doraisamy Naidu, who is popularly known as the ‘Edison of India’. The makers of the film announced the news on social media along with the first poster of the movie. Sharing the news, they wrote, 'Mediaone Global Entertainment Limited signed with GD Naidu charities to make a Biopic on the life and achievements of Miracle man #GDNaidu with @ActorMadhavan as the lead.'

The fans of the actor can't contain their excitement and have filled the comment section with fire emojis. The poster shows a balding man with his back towards the camera and facing a car.

GD Naidu was an inventor, engineer, and businessman. He is credited with having manufactured India’s first electric motor. Naidu made significant contributions to a variety of fields, including mechanical, electrical, and agricultural.

On the work front, R Madhavan was last seen in the film, 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect', which also marked his debut as a director and writer.
