Preity Zinta has wrapped up the shooting of her much-awaited comeback film, 'Lahore 1947'. The actor will be seen sharing the screen with Sunny Deol in the period drama.

Preity Zinta is all set to steal the hearts with her new film. The actor is making a comeback to big screen almost after six years with ‘Lahore 1947’. While fans are eagerly waiting to see the much-anticipated film, Preity Zinta shared an update on the film. Announcing the shoot wrap-up, the actor shared a montage of behind-the-scenes videos and penned a heartfelt note of gratitude.

Preity Zinta wraps up ‘Lahore 1947’

Pretiy Zinta has been away from the big screen for a while and will be seen reuniting with Sunny Deol for her comeback film. The actor shared a video montage of the behind-the-scenes moments from the ‘Lahore 1947’ sets. Preity can be seen posing with Rajkumar Santoshi, Santosh Sivan and others in the montage.

The actor expressed gratitude to the entire team of the film and called it the ‘toughest film’ of her career. She wrote, “It’s a wrap on Lahore 1947 & I couldn’t be more grateful to the entire cast n crew for such an incredible experience. I sincerely hope all of you appreciate & enjoy this film as much as we did making it. It’s definitely the toughest film I have worked on. Full marks to everyone for all their hard work & patience during the last couple of months. Thank you Raj ji, Aamir, Sunny, Shabanaji , Santosh Sivan & AR Rehman from the bottom of my heart. Loads of love always.”

The film holds a special significance for Preity Zinta. The actor had earlier revealed in an interview that she had been reading scripts but did not find anything exciting. She will be collaborating with Sunny Deol after the 2018 action comedy, ‘Bhaiaji Superhit’. The much-loved on-screen pair has earlier worked together in multiple films like ‘Hero: Love Story of a Spy’ and ‘Farz’.

The mega Bollywood project will see several big names from the industry coming together. Besides, Preity Zinta and Sunny Deol, the film also stars Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, and Karan Deol in the significant roles in ‘Lahore 1947’.

The film is being produced by Aamir Khan and marks his first collaboration with Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi. ‘Mr Perfectionist’ and Rajkumar Santoshi are also be reuniting after the duo delivered iconic ‘Andaz Apna Apna’.
