‘No Entry 2’: Anees Bazmee says animosity between Boney and Anil Kapoor is temporary

Director Aneez Bazmee, set to direct ‘No Entry 2’, discussed a rift between Anil and Boney Kapoor over the casting. Anil expressed interest in the sequel, but there was ‘no space.’ The film stars Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor.

Anees, friends with both brothers, acknowledged Anil's disappointment, noting his significant involvement in the original ‘No Entry’.

‘I have worked a lot with Anil ji. Anil ji was very much involved in No Entry not just as an actor. He would always ask, ‘Kya karna hai?’, the director was quoted as saying by The Indian Express.

‘He did a great job and people loved his character, so naturally he will feel, ‘Main kyun nahin hoon is film ke andar (Why am I not in this film?”),’ said Anees.

The filmmaker stated that he doesn't want to meddle in the situation, believing that the brothers' rift is temporary and that they will resolve it themselves. He feels they don't need anyone else's intervention.

‘Inke beech ki jo narazgi hai woh kuch dino ki ho sakti hai (Their animosity is temporary). Mujhe lagta hai yeh dono aapas mein nipat lenge aur aapas mein baat cheet karlenge, mujhe indono se baat karne ki koi zarurat nahin hai. Inko kisi aur ki zarurat nahin hai (I feel they both should sort out their differences and I don’t need to intervene. They actually don’t need anyone),’ he said.

Anil Kapoor is reportedly upset with Boney Kapoor since news about the ‘No Entry 2’ casting leaked online. Boney mentioned that he wanted to explain the situation to Anil, as he knows his brother wanted to be a part of the sequel but there was no space. However, due to the leak, Anil is still upset. Boney hopes they can sort out their differences soon.
