‘Nikamma' trailer: Abhimanyu Dasani exudes remarkable screen presence, Shirley Sethia complements him

After having made his debut in Bollywood with a remarkable performance in ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’, Abhimanyu Dassani upped his game with his next release ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’. This time round, Abhimanyu is all set to show his versatility as an actor in ‘Nikamma',

The film’s trailer starts off with the introduction of the self-confessed ‘nikamma’ (useless) guy named Adi (played by Abhimanyu). The trailer mirrors his life, lifestyle and also his ‘weekly schedule’.

In his life, there exists a ‘superwoman’ in the form of his mother (played by Shilpa Shetty) and also his ladylove (played by the internet sensation Shirley Sethia). Adi’s life changes forever when his mother comes face to face with the film’s villain (played by Abhimanyu Singh). What happens next is the transformation of the ‘useless’ Adi to an extremely responsible man, which will be unveiled in the film.

The film has been directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sony Pictures International Productions and Sabbir Khan Films.

Besides Abhimanyu and Shirley Setia, ‘Nikamma’ also stars Shilpa Shetty, Samir Soni and Abhimanyu Singh in pivotal roles. The film is slated to be released on 17th June 2022.
