‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ trailer out: Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor chase their cricket dream

The trailer of Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor’s much awaited cricket drama, ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ is out. The sneak peek into the world of ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ has surely raised the anticipation among fans for the film. Fans were impressed to see Rajkumar and Janhvi’s chemistry.

The trailer begins from Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor’s first meeting in an arranged marriage set up. Cricket is life and life is cricket for Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor’s characters ‘Mister and Mrs Mahi’. Newlyweds start to bond over the sport and when Rao’s character, who couldn’t achieve his dream of becoming a cricketer, sees his doctor wife’s cricketing talent, he persuades her to become a professional cricketer. He turns coach for his wife, however, their relationship faces some tough tests along the journey. Mr and Mrs Mahi fight against all odds to pursue their cricket dream. From cheering for team India to turning cheerleader for each other, their romance builds up on their shared love for the sport.

About ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’

Directed by Sharan Sharma, ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ will hit the theatres on May 31. This is the second collaboration between Sharan Sharma and Janhvi Kapoor after ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ and also Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor who have earlier worked together in ‘Roohi’. The film is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
