Vicky Kaushal wraps 'Chhava' shoot with 'some drama': 'Incredibly passionate & dramatic journey'

Vicky Kaushal has wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Chhava’. The actor recently took to Instagram to share the update. The historical drama will star the actor as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, while Rashmika Mandanna will step into the role of Yesubai Bhonsale. Ahead of the official sneak peek into the project, Vicky has shared a gratitude note with fans.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Vicky Kaushal penned an emotional note about the film wrap. He wrote, “The incredibly passionate and dramatic journey of filming Chhaava couldn’t have ended without some drama. The rain Gods put up a show today, immediately after we rolled our final shot.”

He further added, “There’s so much I wish to say, there’s so little I’m able to convey about this journey right now… maybe in a few days when it all sinks in. All I can say now with a heart full of gratitude, love and contentment is that… IT’S A WRAP!!!”

Leaked pics from the sets of Chhava

Last month, a few pics from the sets of the much-anticipated film had gone viral. The leaked pic had Vicky sporting a long beard, while his hair was tied in a Shiva-like bun. He also donned a beige sleeveless jacket, light brown dhoti, and traditional accessories, exuding determination in a rustic setting.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film, produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, will be released on December 6.
