Mahira Khan shares beautiful pictures from her wedding ceremony with heartfelt note for her mother

Mahira Khan has shared some beautiful pictures from her wedding festivities. Sharing the pictures, the actor expressed gratitude for her mother who despite being wheelchair-bound, actively participated in all the wedding preparations.

Mahira pens a heartfelt note

The Pakistani actor dedicated the post to her mother and friends who organised her Mayun or haldi ceremony.

“My mother had one wish… to start the wedding with a dua. My beautiful Ama, who is in a wheel chair – one would think she can’t do much – but really, she can do everything and anything. She sat and managed the decoration downstairs, the table, the moving around of furniture and she was ready dot on time.. Alhumdulillah for our parents. Later on that day, my childhood girlfriends had a mayun for me Alhumdulillah for friends I can call my sisters. P.S I took a bud of the motia and put it in my baali before going down.. for my Nani and Dadi.”

In the pictures, she is seen in a white and golden colour traditional suit and garland and is seen posing around her house.

The D-day
Mahira Khan tied the knot with her longtime partner, entrepreneur Salim Karim on October 1. According to reports, the wedding took place took place in Bhurban, Pakistan.

Mahira earlier shared a video of her dreamy wedding on social media handle and dearly called her husband Salim ‘Shehzada’ in the caption. Later she also shared pictures of her posing in her mesmerising bridal lehenga. Many celebrity friends congratulated the actor in comment section.

Mahira’s previous marriage
Mahira Khan was previously married to Ali Askari in 2007 and then got separated in 2015. They have a 13-year-old son, Azlan, together. Azlan also accompanied his mother to the ceremony.
