‘Koffee With Karan 8’: Is Ananya Panday dating Aditya Roy Kapur? Actors says ‘we are best friends’

Ananya Panday graced the ‘koffee’ couch with Sara Ali Khan and made some interesting revelations about her personal and professional life.

On the show, Karan Johar also confirmed that Ananya is dating actor Aditya Roy Kapur.

The new episode started with Karan addressing the elephant in the room. He asked Ananya if she was dating Aditya. The ‘Liger’ actor tried to dodge the question multiple times but failed.

Karan said, ‘Denying your relationships, isn’t that a bit last season?’ To this, she replied, ‘I don’t think it is last season, I think it’s forever. You should… I am not saying you should deny your relationships or accept them. You should just do what works for you and I think some things are private and special and it should be kept that way.’

‘So are you in a friend zone with Aditya Roy Kapur or is it more?’ Karan asked.

‘Not friends… We’re friends…’ Ananya said but Karan quipped, ‘Pyaar dosti hai.’ She then added, ‘Best friends, we are really good friends.’

Sara also teased Ananya about ‘touching’ Aditya.

Ananya, who lost the rapid-fire round to Sara, was upset about not getting the hamper. Sara then jokingly said, ‘If you touch my hamper, I’ll touch your hamper,’ referring to Ananya’s boyfriend Aditya.

Ananya quickly replied, ‘You better not.’ To this, Sara said, ‘Metro In Dino, babe.’

Ananya Panday also addressed the challenges of dating an actor on the show and said that privacy is an issue when you’re in the limelight.

Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur have been rumoured to be dating for a while now. They have been spotted attending the same parties and jetting off on holidays together. Photos from their Europe trip had caught internet’s attention.
