Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to make her big comeback on the silver screen with 'Crew'. The film, also starring Tabu and Kriti Sanon, promises to be an intriguing heist comedy with an all-female cast. From 'Jaane Jaan' to 'The Buckingham Murders' and now 'Crew,' Kareena's filmography in recent times has solely been female-oriented where she holds the cards. With her remarkable second innings credited to her digital debut, Kareena has redefined her superstardom in the Hindi film industry.

Recently, Kareena opened up about fronting female-led projects and how her contemporaries and leading ladies, including Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut and Vidya Balan, have significantly improved the position of women in the film industry. Speaking at a recent ABP conclave, KKK delved deep into how these 'strong women' have taken a stand and are instrumental in bringing significant changes.

She shared, “I think it has changed because a lot of strong women have done a lot of strong parts in films. They have done films that have been loved by the audiences… So, whether it’s leading actresses like Kangana Ranaut, Vidya Balan, Deepika Padukone, or myself, we’ve always tried to stand for roles that have risen above just being there in the film. So, all of us have changed a lot of dynamics on many levels, like demanding a certain role, a certain fee, or position.”

Aside from 'Crew,' Kareena has a score of projects in her pipeline. She will soon be seen making her 'Cop Universe' debut with Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again'. If reports are to be believed, the actor is in talks with the makers of Yash starrer 'Toxic' to play a pivotal role in the film. If true, the film will mark her pan-India debut. Kareena is also set to headline 'Veere Di Wedding 2,' a sequel to her 2018 film.
