Karan Johar shuts down troll who asked him to bring ‘bahu’ for his mom’s timepass

Grabbing the headlines for his popular show ‘Koffee With Karan’, Director Karan Johar is mincing no words these days. From speaking up on nepotism to taking on trolls, KJo is doing it all. He did not stay quiet when a troll asked him to bring a ‘bahu’ for his mother’s ‘timepass’. Completely shutting down the troll, Karan Johar took to his Instagram and penned a lengthy note. Johar said, “Of all the crazy trolls, the abuse and judgment I get about my life choices and my way of being I find comments like these the most offensive’’.

Johar schooled the troll and said that no ‘bahu’ should be a time pass for anyone’s mother. He went on to say that his mother coparents his children and does not need any ‘time pass’. He said that his mother does not need a ‘bahu’ to complete her life. Giving befitting reply to the unsolicited advice, Karan Johar said, “If I were to have a partner I would do so to fill my void not anyone else’s.”

This is not the first time when Johar has hit back at a troll. Earlier he spoke up on the trolling of Deepika and Ranveer Singh. The director said that trolling after the ‘honest’ episode, he felt angered. The couple was being trolled mercilessly over their revelations about their relationship in one of the episodes of Johar’s chat show.

Karan Johar is currently busy with his chat show, “Koffee with Karan” where he recently hosted Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan. 2023 has been a busy year for the ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ director, with him returning to direction with the film ‘Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahaani’.
