The Kannada film 'Kantara' starring Rishab Shetty is doing wonders at the box office.

'Kantara': Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar hails the film, says 'acting and storytelling were very enjoyable'

The Kannada film 'Kantara' has received immense praise from the audience as well as critics. The Rishab Shetty starrer is creating magic at the box office and is all set to enter the Rs 300 crore club in a worldwide collection.

Now, the spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, who recently viewed Rishab Shetty's film, has appreciated it. A special screening was held at the Bangalore ashram of Art of Living for Sri Ravi Shankar.

Actor-director Rishab took to Twitter and shared a video of Shri Ravi Shankar praising the film. He thanked him and wrote, 'We thank Guruji @SriSri for the screening of #Kantara. It was our privilege to screen the movie at the @BangaloreAshram. We wish to be rooted in our culture & promise to carry it forward always.'

In the video, the spiritual guru said in Kannada, 'This film’s success brings such pride to Karnataka. The acting and storytelling were very enjoyable. It shows Malenadu’s greatness in a beautiful way.'

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut was left awestruck after watching the film and she reviewed it through her Instagram stories.

'Kantara' is an action thriller, written and directed by Rishab Shetty, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under Hombale Films. The film stars Shetty as a Kambala champion, who is at loggerheads with an upright DRFO officer, Murali. The film released in theatres on September 30.
