Kangana Ranaut on possible Twitter comeback: 'People's lives will become sensational'

Actor Kangana Ranaut, who was banned from Twitter last year after her controversial comments, has promised more ‘masala’ if she her account is revived on the microblogging website. At a recent event in Himachal Pradesh for news channel Aaj Tak, Kangana mentioned that Twitter could not tolerate her on the platform for even a year, while Instagram also gave her three warnings for her posts. She mentioned that her team has taken over Instagram now and everything is good.

She said, ‘I was there on Twitter for one year and Twitter couldn't tolerate me for even a year... I have completed one year on Instagram in May and I have already received three warnings. So I said I will not use Instagram. My team has taken over and now everything is good. Nobody has a problem with it.’

Kangana said that if she comes back on Twitter, then people’s lives will become sensational and her life will become problematic because cases are filed against her in different states.
‘I'm happy that I'm not there on Twitter. But if my account is revived, then definitely... you will get a lot of 'masala',’ the actor said.

Calling Twitter an ‘argumentative’ medium where ‘an issue is discussed throughout the day’, Kangana said that her comments were in the spirit of fun, to tease people. She stated that at times, things would turn serious if sensitive things were discussed, but that happened occasionally and she didn't do it to upset people.

Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account was suspended in May last year for multiple violations of rules, and ‘hateful conduct and abusive behaviour’.

Elon Musk took over Twitter on October 28, and reportedly fired company's four top executives, including CEO Parag Agrawal and legal executive Vijaya Gadde.
