Remembering her mother Sridevi, Janhvi wrote, 'I know you’d be happy seeing us try, in your memory. Every day. I love you, you are the most special woman on this planet. And I know you’re with us still. You’re the reason we keep going.'

Janhvi Kapoor's heartfelt note for Sridevi on 60th birth anniversary: 'You're the reason we keep going'

Janhvi Kapoor took to social media to share a heartfelt post for her late mother-actor Sridevi on her 60th birth anniversary.

Sharing a photo of Sridevi sitting on her mom's lap, Janhvi wrote that the image holds special significance for her as she wishes she could recreate the same pose on sets with her.

She also wrote that Sridevi would be happy to see how her daughters are trying hard to get better, attempting to make her proud always.
Janhvi said Sridevi is the reason the family keeps going strong.

'Happy birthday Mumma. I know this was one of your favourite places to be, on a film set with your mumma. And today as I’m on a set on your birthday I wish more than ever I had you with me like this, so we could convince everyone it was actually your 35th and not 60th birthday,' she wrote.

'And you could tell me if I’m myself pushing hard enough or not. And I could see in your eyes if I was making you proud. I know you’d be happy seeing us try, in your memory. Every day. I love you, you are the most special woman on this planet. And I know you’re with us still. You’re the reason we keep going. hope you’re having lots of payasam and ice creams and caramel custards today,' her caption read.

Sridevi passed away in 2018. Her last full-fledged film was the 2018 thriller Mom, for which she won a National Award posthumously.

The actor was then seen in a special appearance the same year in Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Zero'.
