'Hi Nanna': Nani and Mrunal Thakur's film gets a release date; see first poster here

Nani and Mrunal Thakur’s forthcoming Telugu film, which was tentatively titled ‘Nani 30’, is now titled ‘Hi Nanna’.

The makers shared the first glimpse of the film on July 13.

Directed by Shouryuv, the emotional family entertainer will have a pan-India release in five languages.

Nani and Mrunal took to social media to unveil the film's title and first glimpse.

Sharing the video, Nani wrote, ‘Hi #Nani30 is #HiNanna! She calls me that... Not the little one ;) (sic).’

'Hi Nanna', written and directed by Shouryuv, will release in theatres worldwide on December 21, 2023.

Apart from Nani and Mrunal Thakur, the film also stars Kiara Khanna in a crucial role.

‘Hi Nanna’s shooting is happening in Hyderabad and other parts of India.

The film is produced by Mohan Cherukuri and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala.

Mrunal Thakur was last seen in Netflix’s anthology film ‘Lust Stories 2’ opposite Angad Bedi.

Besides ‘Hi Nanna’, she now has multiple projects in the pipeline – ‘Pooja Meri Jaan’, ‘Pippa’, ‘Radha’ and ‘Aankh Micholi’.
