Sidharth Malhotra began his career as an assistant director

Sidharth started his career as a model and then eventually came on board as an assistant director. He was an assistant director for ‘Dostana’ and then ‘My Name is Khan’.

Student of the Year was never supposed to be his debut film

‘Student of the Year’ was never meant to be Sidharth’s debut film. He was supposed to be launched in the Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘Fashion’, but due to certain obligations related to his contract, he could not go ahead with it.

He was the second runner up in two modelling events – The manhunt pageant and the Gladrags Mega Model.

Sidharth Malhotra loves pets
Sidharth, who is known for his love of animals, shared a deep bond with his pet Oscar for more than a decade. His dog passed away in February 2022.

The actor has also worked with an NGO to raise dog awareness.
