Hansal Mehta demands Dream 11's ad featuring Rishabh Pant to be pulled down; says 'I’m very offended'

Director Hansal Mehta who was recently shooting for his upcoming movie with Kareena Kapoor Khan in London has slammed the new ad for Dream 11 featuring cricketer Rishabh Pant. He said that he's offended by the ad and demanded to pull the ad down.

Hansal took to Twitter and wrote, 'This is a disgusting and disrespectful commercial. Pimp yourself but not at the cost of ridiculing art and it’s rich traditions. I demand that @Dream11 pulls this down.'

The ad showcases Rishabh wondering what he would have become if not a cricketer. It then features Rishabh as a classical singer singing very badly at an event while taking the wicketkeeper's stance in a hypothetical situation.

Many people responded to the tweet by Hansal, where many agreed that the ad should be pulled down while some gave the makers the liberty of freedom of speech and expression.
