Hansal Mehta begins shooting web series 'Gandhi' in Gujarat

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta has announced that he is filming for his new project ‘Gandhi’ in Gujarat.

Hansal took to social media and shared a picture of the clapboard that said title ‘Gandhi.’ Following that there are pictures of him with the team immersed in direction. “Capturing history in the making! #Gandhi filming now.” Hansal also shared a picture of table that had the initials mentioned M.K. Gandhi.

Pratik Gandhi will be seen playing lead in the series. Fans are very excited to see the two collaborate again for a project. A netizen wrote, “So excited for this sir. Best wishes.” Another added, “Salute to your courage to make a film on Gandhi.” One person wrote, “The benchmark is set in the 80s. But I am sure and excited to see that getting superseded!”

The first schedule of the film is over. It is set to be is set to be an international production and it will be shot across various Indian and foreign locations. The series will have multiple seasons and will be produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Applause Productions.
