Gauri Khan tells Mannat's kitchen staff not to cook 'meetha' till Aryan gets bail, say reports

These are difficult times for Bollywood's power couple, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri, with their 23-year-old son Aryan Khan lodged in Arthur Road prison for his alleged role in a drugs case. According to a report in India Today, the atmosphere at Shah Rukh Khan's residence 'Mannat' has been 'gloomy and sombre' since his arrest.

An India Today report says, amid the festivities of Eid and Diwali, Gauri Khan has reportedly told her kitchen staff to not prepare any sweet delicacies until Aryan is released from jail. This reportedly happened after a staff member was preparing kheer during one of their lunch menus, but Gauri instructed him not to do so.

The report also suggests that Gauri is quite upset with her son’s arrest and she has been continuously praying for his release.

Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 3 from the cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. Now, all eyes are on October 20, as a special court has posted Aryan's bail plea for orders on that day.
