Shatrughan Sinha on Aryan Khan’s arrest: Shah Rukh is the reason why his son is being targeted

Shatrughan Sinha is known to speak his mind. The veteran actor and politician has now come forward in support of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and his family, criticising the way his son Aryan Khan is being 'used' in the Mumbai drug bust on the cruise ship case.

Mincing no words, in an interview with ETimes, Shotgun said Bollywood is taking time to show support to Shah Rukh Khan, as the 'industry is a bunch of scared folks'. He called them 'godi kalakars', who think it is the other person's problem and they should fight their own battles.

Though Shatrughan Sinha ruled out any religious angle to Aryan Khan's arrest, he admitted that Aryan is being targeted because he is Shah Rukh Khan’s son. He said, there are other names like Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant, but nobody is talking about them.

He said, the last time such a thing happened, the focus was only on Deepika Padukone, although there were other known names involved.

Shatrughan Snha said, this time people have Aryan Khan to play with, and they’ve got a chance to settle scores with Shah Rukh Khan. Sinha also condemned sloganeering and jingoism on social media, where many are calling Shah Rukh 'anti-national', due to his son's arrest.
