Alia Bhatt has always amazed the audience with her spectacular performances. She is a recipient of several accolades, including three Filmfare Awards, and is one of the highest-paid actors in India. Let's take a look at five of her best movies so far.

Udta Punjab (2016)
The story highlighted the insurgence of substance abuse among the youth in the Indian state of Punjab. The movie was interwoven tales of a rock star, a migrant worker, a doctor, and a policeman. Alia’s performance was lauded by fans as well as critics. She bagged the Filmfare award in the Best Actor (Female) category.

Raazi (2018)
An adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel ‘Calling Sehmat’, the film is based on the true-life story of a Kashmiri girl. She is an undercover RAW agent, who is married into a Pakistani family by her father so that she can get valuable information about the enemy. Alia Bhatt-Vicky Kaushal starrer is set in 1971 prior to the India-Pakistan war.

2 states (2014)
The cross-cultural romance is an adaptation of author Chetan Bhagat's novel, ‘2 States: The Story of My Marriage’. The film shows how Krish and Ananya, who have a very different cultural background, try to convince their parents for marriage.

Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022)
The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial is loosely based on the true story of Ganga Jagjivandas Kathiawadi, popularly known as Gangubai Kothewali. It shows how a young woman is duped and sold to a brothel, but she fearlessly reclaims her power, using underworld connections.

Highway (2014)
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film narrates the story of Veera, a young bride-to-be, who is abducted by a local gangster a day prior to her wedding. Instead of being scared of her abductor, Veera discovers a new meaning to her life.
