'Freddy’ to ‘Shehzada’: Kartik Aaryan's interesting line up of films

Kartik Aaryan, who made his debut in 2011 with ‘Pyaar ka Punchnama,’ has become one of the most bankable actors of Bollywood. The actor’s latest release ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ is Bollywood’s first blockbuster and biggest opener following the COVID-19 pandemic. Kartik is one of the most loved actors in the current generation and he has a slew of exciting films lined up. Let’s take a look at his upcoming films.

‘Shehzada’
Kartik Aaryan will reunite with his ‘Luka Chuppi’ co-star Kriti Sanon in the romantic-comedy, ‘Shehzada’. The film, directed by Rohit Dhawan, also stars veteran actors Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala in pivotal roles.
‘Shehzada’ is a remake of the Telugu film ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ (2020) by Trivikram Srinivas. It was slated to release on November 4, 2022, but it has now been postponed to February, 2023.

‘Captain India’
Kartik will be portraying the role of a pilot in Hansal Mehta’s ‘Captain India’. Produced by RSVP and Baweja Studios, the film is reportedly inspired by one of India’s successful rescue missions from a war-torn country.

‘Freddy’
Kartik Aaryan will star opposite Alaya F in this romantic thriller. The film is being directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Ekta Kapoor. This is Ekta and Shashanka Ghosh's second film together after ‘Veere Di Wedding’, which released in 2018.
‘Freddy’ is expected to be packed with unpredictable twists and sharp turns.

Kabir Khan’s untitled
Kabir Khan, the ace filmmaker, has roped in Kartik Aaryan for his next film. He took to social media on July 18 to make the announcement and said that his forthcoming project will star Kartik in a never before seen avatar. The 'fascinating true story with larger than life canvas’ will be produced and directed by Kabir Khan along with his dear friend by Sajid Nadiadwala. The shoot of the film will commence early next year.

‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’
‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’ will star Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The Sameer Vidwan directorial, which is being touted as an epic love story, sparked controversy on social media over its title. The makers decided to change the project’s name to ‘avoid hurting sentiments’ but it has not yet been announced.
