Kartik Aaryan says he is proud of being 'popular amongst rapid fire shows'

Kartik Aaryan, who is currently riding high on the success of his last release ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, is back in the headlines for taking a slight dig at Karan Johar. The filmmaker returned with his much-talked-about show ‘Koffee With Karan’ earlier this month. In the second episode, his guests Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor made an indirect reference to Kartik during the Rapid Fire segment, while Ranveer Singh mimicked him in the first episode.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kartik was asked to mention one thing that he is proud of, to which he jokingly responded that he is popular on rapid-fire shows. This comment has left fans guessing if it was a subtle dig at Karan Johar’s popular show.

The actor also disclosed if he would make an appearance in Luv Ranjan’s next, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Responding to the rumours about his cameo, he said that even though the director is his ‘lucky charm,’ he can’t comment at the moment.

Kartik Aaryan is busy shooting for ‘Shehzada’ with Kriti Sanon. His other upcoming projects include, ‘Captain India’, ‘Freddy’ and ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’.
