Fans rejoiced after the release date was announced and said they're eagerly looking forward to its release.
Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran are all set to reprise their roles as Vijay Salgaonkar and Nandini Salgaonkar in the film. The two actors played husband and wife in the first installment.

'Drishyam 2' will be directed by Abhishek Pathak. It also stars Akshaye Khanna, Ishita Dutta and Rajat Kapoor in pivotal roles. The story of the forthcoming film is set to begin seven years after the events in the first film.

Nishikanth Kamat had directed the 2015 film 'Drishyam.' Abhishek Pathak took over the direction of the sequel after Nishikanth passed away in 2020 due to multiple organ failure.
