‘Don 3’: Sobhita Dhulipala to feature in Ranveer Singh starrer? Here’s what we know

Sobhita Dhulipala is reportedly in talks to join Ranveer Singh's ‘Don 3’. According to recent reports, the actor, who recently got engaged to Naga Chaitanya, has been approached for an item song in the third installment of the hit franchise. Sources suggest that Sobhita has had multiple meetings with filmmaker Farhan Akhtar regarding the role.

A source quoted by Zee News revealed, ‘Sobhita, known for her versatility, is eager to try something new, and Don 3 seems to be the perfect opportunity. Farhan Akhtar is confident she’ll bring the right allure to the film.’

Although discussions are ongoing, Sobhita Dhulipala has yet to finalize her appearance in ‘Don 3’. ‘Talks are in progress, but no decision has been made yet. However, Sobhita has had several meetings with Farhan and the team,’ the report noted.

‘Don 3’ is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films. Last year, Farhan Akhtar surprised everyone by releasing a teaser and confirming Ranveer Singh as the new Don. However, the announcement sparked disappointment among many fans, who urged the filmmaker to bring back Shah Rukh Khan.

In a later interview with BBC Asian Network, Farhan addressed the backlash over replacing SRK in ‘Don 3’.

‘I’m really excited to get it started. Ranveer is fantastic for the role. He’s both thrilled and nervous, knowing he’s stepping into big shoes. We experienced the same emotions when Shah Rukh replaced Mr. Bachchan. It’s a process,’ he explained.

In addition to Ranveer, Kiara Advani will also star in ‘Don 3’, set to release in 2025.
