Chiranjeevi wishes 'speedy recovery' to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, says 'you shall overcome this challenge'

Megastar Chiranjeevi posted a heartfelt note for Samantha Ruth Prabhu on Twitter on Sunday. The ‘Yashoda’ actor recently revealed that she has been diagnosed with autoimmune condition, myositis, and is in the US for treatment. In his letter, Chiranjeevi wished her ‘all the courage and conviction’ to overcome this challenge.

The letter of the actor reads, 'Dear Sam (Samantha), From time to time, challenges do come in our lives, perhaps to allow us discover our own inner strength. You are a wonderful girl with an even greater inner strength. I am sure, you shall overcome this challenge too, Very soon! Wishing you all the courage and conviction! May the Force be with you!'

Samantha was quick to respond to his tweet and thanked him for his kind and encouraging words.

Besides Chiranjeevi, many other celebrities such as Dulquer Salman, Jr NTR, Laksmi Manchu, Shriya Saran and Hansika Motwani have also extended their support to Samaantha.

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared a post on her rare condition on Instagram, and wrote, 'A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery.’

On the work front, apart from 'Yashodha', Samantha Ruth Prabhu has multiple forthcoming projects, including 'Shaakuntalam' and 'VD11' among others.
