'Brahmastra' trailer out: Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt to save the world in this visually-stunning film

The trailer of this year's much-awaited film 'Brahmastra,' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, is finally out. The visually stunning trailer opens with Amitabh Bachchan's voice narrating how since ancient times, the five elements have power stored in 'astras' (weapons) and the introduction of God of all Astras -the Brahmastra.

The three-minute clip highlights how Shiva, played by Ranbir, is clueless about his connection with Brahmastra and gives a glimpse into his romance with Isha, played by Alia. After learning about his connection with the world of astras, Shiva takes over his role as the saviour.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film also stars Nagarjuna as Artist Anish and Mouni as Junoon, the villain.

'Brahmastra' is Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's first film together. It will release in theatres on September 9.
