‘Brahmastra’: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor attend special screening of their forthcoming film

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s much-awaited film ‘Brahmastra’ is all set to release in theatres this Friday (September 9). The actors along with the makers of the film are ensuring that their adventure drama creates enough buzz ahead of its theatrical release. A special screening of the Ayan Mukerji-directorial was organised in Mumbai on Monday. It was a private affair and was attended by the lead cast of the film. A few pictures and videos of the soon-to-be parents have surfaced online.

For the screening, Ranbir was dressed in a casual outfit, and Alia was seen donning an olive-coloured dress paired with a jacket. Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt and director Ayan Mukerji’s father Deb Mukherjee also attended the screening.

‘Brahmastra’ also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. According to trade analysts, the advance booking numbers are notably positive. The film may start its box office journey with Rs 20 crore.

‘Brahmastra’ has reportedly been made on a budget of Rs 410 crore making it the costliest Hindi film of all time.
