Anushka Sharma made her first appearance after the birth of her son Akaay on Saturday. The actor was seen cheering for her husband Virat Kohli's team, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), from the stands. It was just cherry on top that Kohli delivered yet another thundering performance with the bat, with RCB registering a victory against Gujarat Titans.

Anushka turns cheerleader for RCB

Anushka, dressed in a blue striped shirt paired with denim, was seen unleashing her inner cheerleader at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday. In the clips and videos going viral on the internet, from amused to enthusiastic, the actor could be spotted channelling her many moods.

Her presence at the match was not just a show of support for her husband, but also a hint at her comeback to public life. The actor looked glowing and cheerful as she talked with other spectators, clearly enjoying the game and the ambience surrounding her.

Virat and Anushka announce son's birth

Virat and Anushka announced the birth of their son Akaay on social media on February 20. In a social media statement, the couple wrote, "With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika's little brother into this world! We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love & Gratitude."

On the film front, Anushka will next be seen in 'Chakda 'Xpress', a biopic of former India cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Directed by Prosit Roy, the film will have an OTT release on Netflix.
