Anees Bazmee Says Triptii Dimri Wasn't His First Pick for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Read to know more

Triptii Dimri has become a sensation in Bollywood, after her breakout role in Animal, which earned her the title of 'national crush.' Following successful films like Bad Newz and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, she is now preparing for her third release of the year, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', where she stars opposite Kartik Aaryan for the first time. With its upcoming Diwali release, excitement is building around their chemistry.

Director Anees Bazmee revealed in an interview with News18 Showsha that Dimri wasn’t initially the first choice for the film.

“It’s not like we always had Triptii in our minds. We considered many factors, and then one day she came to mind, and we thought, why not?" he explained.

Bazmee acknowledged her impressive performance in 'Animal' but emphasized that her popularity is a result of years of hard work.

According to Bazmee, “Sometimes, hard work doesn’t pay off, but Triptii is a rare combination of being a skilled actor, a wonderful person, hardworking, and good-looking. She’s also very easy to collaborate with,” he noted.

Triptii’s name arose when Bazmee was considering actors who had not yet shared screen space with Kartik.

“I wanted a fresh pair for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and now everyone involved with the film is saying, ‘Anees bhai, you were right about Triptii. She’s perfect for the role,’” he added.

Bazmee emphasized that Triptii plays a crucial role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. He reassured audience that she was cast for more than just a few songs. “She will shock everyone with her performance. Viewers will think, ‘Wow, we never expected her role to be like this’.
