Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor twin in number ‘8’ T-shirts as they attend an event in Mumbai| Watch

Star couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor attended the Indian Super League match in Mumbai on October 8. Many pictures and videos of the couple from the event have emerged online.

At the event, Alia and Ranbir were seen in matching number ‘8’ T-shirts. Alia opted for a blue T-shirt with denim and white shoes, while Ranbir was seen in a black T-shirt, black cargo pants and sneakers. He also wore a cap.

Ranbir and Alia smiled and posed for pictures as they entered the venue hand-in-hand. In one of the videos, the couple posed with Reliance Foundation chairperson Nita Ambani for pictures.

Ranbir bid goodbye to Nita as they exited the venue, while Alia got inside her car. Ranbir flashed a thumbs-up sign before he joined his wife.

Fans are in awe of the couple. Reacting to the one of the videos, a fan wrote, ‘They are my favourite couple, they look awesome together.’ Another person said, ‘Most successful pair of Indian Cinema. Most successful actor and actress of this generation.’

Ranbir, an ardent football fan

Not only an ardent football fan, Ranbir is also the co-owner of the Indian Super League franchise Mumbai City FC.

Alia-Ranbir marriage

Alia and Ranbir tied the knot in April 2022 at their house Vastu, in the presence of a few family members and close friends. They are now parents to daughter, Raha Kapoor.

Professional front

Alia Bhatt is currently shooting for her next film ‘Jigra’ which she is co-producing with Karan Johar. Directed by Vasan Bala, ‘Jigra’ is all set to hit the theatres on September 27, 2024.

‘Jigra’ marks Alia and Vasan's first on-screen collaboration.

Alia Bhatt was last seen in Karan Johar's film ‘Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ alongside Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Ranveer Singh.

On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor will soon be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ with Rashmika Mandanna. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles.

‘Animal’ will release in cinemas on December 1, 2023.
