Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's 'thumkas' steal the show at Radhika-Anant's sangeet ceremony, watch

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities have officially begun. After a mameru ceremony earlier this week, the Ambanis kickstarted the weekend with a high-on Bollywood music-themed sangeet ceremony. International pop sensation Justin Bieber performed his top hits live at the star-studded event, while the Ambanis put up a united front to steal the show on 'Deewangi Deewangi' from 'Om Shanti Om'. Celebrity couple, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor, also participated in the festivities and grooved to some iconic songs at the grand bash.

'Thumka' feat. Alia-Ranbir

In a video from the sangeet ceremony, Ranbir and Alia can be seen taking over the stage, shaking a leg to the song 'Show Me The Thumka' from Kapoor's romantic comedy 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar', which was released last year. The hit number has been sung by Arijit Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan. The original song featured Shraddha Kapoor alongside Ranbir. While Ranbir was spot-on with his moves at the Ambani event, Alia seemed to have picked up the energy quite seamlessly. They were also joined by Aakash Ambani and Shloka Ambani for the performance.

What Ranbir-Alia wore at the ceremony?

Dropping major couple goals, Alia and Ranbir opted for colour-coordinated outfits at the event. While the 'Jigra' actor dazzled in a black lehenga with golden embroidery by Faraz Manan, Ranbir complimented her in a bandh gala suit.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's sangeet ceremony was also attended by Madhuri Dixit, Khushi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Salman Khan, MS Dhoni, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and many other celebs.
